NEWS FROM NASFAA

In September 2021, NASFAA — together with Oracle — distributed a survey to 2,592 primary contacts at NASFAA member institutions about their institutions' preparations for the implementation of forthcoming FAFSA and Federal Methodology (FM) changes under the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA). Of the 435 responses received, 41% reported they are slightly or not confident that the Department of Education can provide timely, helpful guidance to help them navigate the changes, and 40% of respondents are completely or fairly confident in their financial aid management software provider’s ability to adapt to the new requirements.
