Helen Faith

Helen Faith, FAAC®, is the director of student financial aid at University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has worked in financial aid for 21 years. She has previously worked at Lane Community College, the University of Western States, Oregon Health and Science University, Portland State University, and the University of California, Santa Cruz. She has served as a past president of the Western Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (WASFAA) and the Oregon Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (OASFAA), and as the WASFAA representative on the NASFAA Board of Directors. Helen has participated in negotiated rulemaking with the U.S. Department of Education as an alternate non-federal negotiator on student loan issues and is an active member of the financial aid community as a presenter and policy advocate at the national, regional, and state levels. Helen holds a bachelor's degree in literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a master's degree in educational leadership and policy from Portland State University.
