NASFAA Presidential Search

In April 2024, NASFAA announced that its President & CEO, Justin Draeger, would step down from his role in June 2024. For 14 years, Justin was instrumental in shaping NASFAA’s success, growth, influence, relevance, and capacity to serve NASFAA’s members.

In light of this transition, NASFAA is pleased to announce the Board of Directors has appointed Beth Maglione as the interim president. Beth brings over 20 years of experience in higher education leadership to her new role. Her tenure as the organization’s second-in-command, liaison to the Board of Directors, and operational lead makes her well-equipped to ensure operational continuity during this period.

In July 2024, NASFAA’s Board of Directors appointed a Presidential Search Committee, charged with finding and vetting a new leader for the association. The Board expects to begin the search process immediately, hoping to make a final decision by the end of the year.
