Christal Williams

Christal Williams is the director of financial aid at Johnson County Community College with 30 years of experience. She began her career as a work-study student at Avila University in 1994 and became a full-time employee in 1995. She has also held positions at the Kansas City Art Institute and Saint Paul School of Theology. Christal holds a bachelor's degree in accounting, an MBA, and a master's in organizational development psychology, all from Avila University. She is a past president of the Rocky Mountain Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (RMASFAA) and has served on the NASFAA Board as a regional representative and commission director. Her passion for financial aid began as a student and has continued for nearly three decades. She is committed to helping students succeed by ensuring access to education.
