Dr. Amy Cable has over 18 years of experience as a financial aid administrator and has worked collaboratively with financial aid professionals in varying capacities at the state, regional, and national levels. She began her career in financial aid at the University of Memphis and is a past president of LASFAA (Louisiana) and the Southwest Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (SWASFAA). As chief student affairs officer at the Louisiana Community and Technical College System, she oversees recruitment, admissions, financial aid, retention, and student support efforts for 12 community colleges. She co-authored "Developing Your Star Qualities: Preparing Yourself to Become the Director'' and has presented on many financial aid and enrollment management topics throughout her career, including default management and communication for a greater influence.
