Credential tests are open for a period of 40 days, for both the first and second attempts, once granted access. Tests will automatically expire from individual accounts once that timeframe has passed. Extensions due to special circumstances may be approved if an appeal is submitted, preferably prior to the expiration date of the test. 

Appeals may be sent to [email protected] and should include:

• A written statement as to the circumstance that prohibited test completion;
  • If available, supporting evidence of that circumstance (physician statement, human resource statement, and/or other documents); and
• Requested extension period. For example, do you need an extra week or anticipate needing more time to complete the test(s)?

The credential team will review your request and respond within three business days. Additional information and documentation may be requested.
