Pop Quiz - How Is SAP Handled for Enrollment in Multiple Programs With Distinct Credentials?

Scenario:

The school has many students enrolled simultaneously in two or more separate academic programs with the purpose of earning two or more distinct academic credentials. How would the school handle satisfactory academic progress (SAP) for students in this situation? For example, we have a student who is completing a MBA and a Ph.D. simultaneously.

Answer:

The school would calculate all SAP components separately for each individual program. If the student is earning a double major for which only one degree will be awarded, the school may consider all credits to be a part of one academic program.
