Ongoing Title IV requirements mandate that schools provide information necessary to allow students to make an informed decision regarding their choice of educational institutions. Likewise, currently enrolled students want to see an accurate picture of their chosen school. In this session, held Tuesday, June 25 at 8:30 a.m., presenters will review the plethora of disclosure requirements and discuss how best practices may be developed for keeping your communication on track to convey your message and further institutional compliance. If you haven't already, register today to attend the conference in Orlando or to tune in for great sessions like this one via NASFAA Live, our web-based livestreaming option.

It is NASFAA's understanding that a Cancer Treatment Deferment form is not yet available, so the borrower should contact his or her loan servicer to discuss options (e.g., forbearance, alternative deferment, etc.) until the Cancer Treatment Deferment process and form are finalized by the U.S. Department of Education (ED). FSA has published the updated 2019-20 Federal School Code (FSC) List of Participating Schools on the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) website. The Federal School Code List contains the unique codes assigned by the Department of Education for schools participating in the Title IV federal student aid programs. Students enter these codes on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid(FAFSA®) to indicate which postsecondary schools will receive the processed application results.
