Education Secretary Miguel Cardona, in a letter to state governors on Tuesday, outlined steps that state-level stakeholders can take to encourage students to complete the 2024-25 FAFSA and to support institutions preparing financial aid packages.

The Office of Federal Student Aid’s (FSA) 2024 training conference will once again be held virtually, from December 3-6, 2024. This summer, FSA will announce more details as to how participants can register and encouraged financial aid professionals to use #FSATC2024 on social media to engage in conversation concerning the upcoming conference. Per the announcement, registration for the event will open sometime this fall.
