NASFAA Communities Sponsorship

NASFAA Communities is our online Slack platform where more than 10,000 financial aid professionals connect, collaborate, and share knowledge. The platform has become a vibrant hub for peer-to-peer learning, professional networking, and industry conversations.

Sponsoring NASFAA Communities provides your organization with a unique opportunity to increase brand visibility and connect directly with an engaged audience of financial aid professionals. Through strategic recognition and thoughtfully integrated opportunities to share relevant resources, your organization can build awareness, demonstrate expertise, and remain top of mind within a platform members use every day.

Sponsors may choose from one of the following options:

Option A: Monthly Sponsored Post & Tagline

Your organization will receive one dedicated sponsored post that remains pinned in the #announcements channel for the duration of your sponsored month. Throughout the month, NASFAA will also include a brief sponsor tagline at the end of two NASFAA announcements each week of your sponsored month, linking members back to your pinned post for more information.

Sponsor Provides

  • Post text (maximum 200 words)
    • Example: NASFAA Communities Brought to You This Month by: [Sponsor]. This is a description of a product we are featuring for financial aid professionals. And here’s a second sentence about why we would like your attention. Learn more about [Sponsor's work | linked].
  • One image (see image specifications below)
  • One URL to include in the post

NASFAA Will

  • Review content to ensure it aligns with the Community Guidelines and formatting requirements.
  • Publish and pin the sponsored post for the sponsored month

Option B: Weekly Sponsored Posts

Maintain a consistent presence throughout your sponsored month by publishing one new sponsored post each week in the #announcements channel. This option allows you to share relevant content with the community each week rather than promoting a single message throughout the month.

Each weekly post can feature unique content, allowing you to highlight different resources, initiatives, or topics throughout your sponsorship. Share helpful resources, such as guides, white papers, blog articles, toolkits, or other educational content that provides value to financial aid professionals. Each post may also include a unique link.

Sponsor Provides

  • Four sponsored posts (maximum 75 words each)
  • Up to four accompanying images (one for each post, see image specifications below)
  • A unique  URL for each post, if desired.

NASFAA Will

  • Review content to ensure it aligns with the Community Guidelines and formatting requirements.
  • Schedule and publish one sponsored post each week during the sponsored month.
  • Format posts consistently with other community announcements
  • Remove or archive posts according to standard community practices (after 90 days).
