Beth Maglione

Executive Vice President, NASFAA

Beth Maglione is the executive vice president of NASFAA, where she provides strategic and operational leadership across the organization, partners with the Board of Directors, and advances the association’s mission in service to members and students.

In 2024-25, Beth served as interim president & CEO, leading NASFAA through a successful leadership transition while maintaining organizational stability, strong member service, and continued advocacy during a period of significant change in higher education and federal student aid.

Over more than 20 years at NASFAA, Beth has overseen a broad portfolio of functions, including communications, marketing, web, community engagement, membership services, policy, training, meetings, operations, and accounting. Before joining NASFAA, she worked in journalism, strategic communications, and public affairs. She also served as an appointed board member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling.

Beth earned a bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston and a nonprofit leadership certificate from Georgetown University. She has worked in higher education since 1999 and lives in Washington with her family.
