NASFAA U Program Manager, NASFAA
Tonya Hsiung is the program manager and an instructor for NASFAA U as part of NASFAA's Training and Regulatory Assistance team. She began her financial aid career as a work-study student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), where she earned a bachelor's degree in secondary mathematics education and master's degree in student affairs in higher education. Prior to joining NASFAA in 2019, she held positions at Millersville University and Franklin & Marshall College. She was active and volunteered on committees in EASFAA and PASFAA (Pennsylvania) and also served on board and as the treasurer of PASFAA for many years. She and her husband live in Lancaster, PA with their daughter. In her spare time, she likes to read, paint, bake, and spend time with her family.
