In this monthly round-up in Today's News, we would like to highlight what’s going on in your state and regional associations. This month, we have the opportunity to hear from our colleagues from Texas, Mississippi, Nebraska, and the Western Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (WASFAA).

The House on Wednesday passed the Defending Education Transparency and Ending Rogue Regimes Engaging in Nefarious Transactions (DETERRENT) Act, by a vote of 246-170, with more than two dozen Democrats voting in favor of the bill. 

NASFAA UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Every year, NASFAA recognizes outstanding members and other higher education stakeholders for their achievements and contributions to financial aid, students, and/or NASFAA.
