NEWS FROM NASFAA

On the Biden administration’s “SAVE Day of Action,” a group of Democratic senators introduced legislation that would codify the Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) repayment plan into law.

Most college and university presidents are optimistic that their institutions will be financially stable in the next five or 10 years. However, over half of these presidents have concerns about the public’s confidence in higher education – especially in terms of college affordability.

NASFAA UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Planned Outage Begins Tonight: NASFAA Website and Services Unavailable

The NASFAA website and all related services will be unavailable starting at approximately 7:00 p.m. ET tonight for a planned maintenance outage. During this period, all NASFAA online services will be unavailable — including www.nasfaa.org, the AskRegs Knowledgebase, the NASFAA Compliance Engine, the ability to take NASFAA professional credential tests and complete coursework, and access the Student Aid Reference Desk — please plan accordingly. All site services should return by 7:00 a.m. ET tomorrow and Today's News should be distributed without issue. Thank you for your continued patience as NASFAA completes this critical work.
