This week on “Off the Cuff,” Allie, Karen, and Rachel discuss the latest adjustments to the rollout of the 2024-25 FAFSA, including a miscalculation in the SAI formula. The team covers a number of other possible FAFSA issues and outlines what updates they would like to see from the Department of Education (ED) as the rollout begins to ramp up.

NASFAA UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Register now for NASFAA U's Academic Calendars online course. Starting Tuesday, April 30, this four-week collaborative online course will focus on the building blocks of Title IV program eligibility. Concepts such as academic year, payment periods, and program structure will be defined and illustrated as emerging academic program structures test the traditional basis of determining program eligibility and packaging students with Title IV aid.

Justify your attendance at NASFAA’s National Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, this June. NASFAA has created a toolkit of easily customizable letters and worksheets to help your manager understand the return they will see on this important investment. And a reminder that if you are an FAAC®, attendance at the NASFAA National Conference will qualify you for 10 Recertification Points (RPs) as an experience that will contribute greatly to your continuing education.
