The NASFAA 2024 National Conference is just around the corner, and for many attendees, this will be their first time attending the annual gathering. Today’s News caught up with Katy Weisenburger, FAAC^®, chair of the 2024 NASFAA Conference First-Time Attendee Task Force, on what first-time attendees can expect this year.

As the 2023-24 year comes to a close, we'd like to recognize all the important people who served the association this year. Our members are the lifeblood of our organization and we truly appreciate all the time, effort, thought, and energy all of our volunteer task force members have put in over the past year. NASFAA's annual Business Meeting will be conducted virtually today at 2:00 p.m. ET as part of the Policy Update Webinar. NASFAA's Bylaws dictate that the association must meet annually for the purpose of transacting all business which may be brought before the membership. The meeting will include reports on NASFAA's financial status, FAAC^® program, governance and oversight, and diversity efforts.
