On Tuesday, NASFAA submitted comments to the Department of Education (ED) on the draft 2027-28 FAFSA. In this first round of comments, NASFAA expressed support for many of the proposed changes, including the rewording of some questions to be more clear, as well as utilizing prepopulation of certain data. NASFAA also offered recommendations for further improvement and reiterated areas of concern raised in prior years’ comments.
Last week, all primary contacts should have received a NASFAA membership dues renewal invoice via email. If you are NASFAA's primary contact for your institution/organization and you did not receive your invoice, please contact Membership Services or call (202) 785-0453 Ext.1 or download your invoice from our website. Thank you for supporting NASFAA; your membership dues make up roughly 60% of our annual revenues, which makes it possible for NASFAA to press on in its advocacy and research efforts, meet your training needs, and support your office functions.
