This month, we have the opportunity to hear from our colleagues from across the country, including recaps of recently held conferences in Michigan and Florida. Our colleagues from SWASFAA and New Hampshire also preview what attendees can expect at upcoming conferences.

There’s still time to help shape the agenda for NASFAA’s premier event! Each summer, more than 2,300 financial aid professionals gather at the NASFAA National Conference to learn, network, and share ideas. The Conference Program Task Force ensures high-quality sessions by reviewing proposals and building the conference program. Members must attend an in-person meeting in Washington, D.C., in late fall or early winter. Conference attendance in June is not required. To get involved, review the task force charter on the volunteer information page and complete the volunteer form by 5:00 p.m. ET on Friday, July 31, 2026.

NASFAA is joining the Association for Institutional Research (AIR) and the National Student Clearinghouse for a free webinar on Wednesday, August  5, from 2-3:15 p.m. ET, designed to help institutions prepare for the October 1 reporting deadline. Presenters will review the current financial value transparency and gainful employment (FVT/GE) reporting cycle, the option to early-implement STATS, and the mechanics of reporting through the Clearinghouse. Registration is open and closes at 11:59 p.m. ET on August 4.
