The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) made sweeping changes to federal student aid programs that will widen unmet need gaps and increase the demand for supplemental private education loans. Financial aid offices will play a critical role in helping students navigate these changes, bu must do so while remaining fully compliant with federal PLL rules and regulations. Speakers will review the statutory and regulatory requirements governing PLLs and discuss ways that institutions can responsibly counsel students while mitigating risk.
