On Wednesday, NASFAA inquired about the status of the newest Net Price Calculator (NPC), which was expected to be made available much earlier this year.

As of Wednesday, the creators of the NPC are still awaiting the 2018-19 Federal Student Aid (FSA) data from the Department of Education (ED) in order to update the template, and ED is well aware of this situation.

In the meantime, ED does allow in-house created or third party NPC templates if institutions would like to proceed with a new template immediately.
