NASFAA UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Institutions are being asked to do more with less — and the sweeping changes introduced under the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” have dramatically increased complexity, workload, and compliance risks for financial aid offices, often without a corresponding increase in staffing or resources. In this practical, strategy-focused webinar, today at 2 p.m. ET, we’ll explore how to effectively advocate for outsourced services and external support to connect regulatory changes, operational bottlenecks, and student impact in ways that resonate with executive leadership and budget decision-makers.

NASFAA’s credential tests will be offline for maintenance from April 27 - 30, 2026. By May 1, NASFAA’s professional credential tests and the certification exam will reflect the legislative and regulatory requirements for the 2026-27 award year. You will be presented with the version that is active on the date you take the test or exam, regardless of when you purchased it, so be sure to prepare accordingly. If you have any questions, contact the certification program staff.
