Judge Extends ACTS Report Deadline to April 14 for Specific Institutions

By Maria Carrasco, NASFAA Staff Reporter

A federal judge on Tuesday extended the reporting deadline for the Admissions and Consumer Transparency Supplement (ACTS) again, but only for certain institutions.

Specifically, institutions that are members of American Association of Universities (AAU) and the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities in Massachusetts (AICUM) now have through April 14 to submit their ACTS reporting.

Institutions that don’t fall under this category (i.e. aren’t members of AAU or AICUM) had the deadline of March 31 to submit their ACTS reporting.

The deadline for institutions to submit their ACTS reporting has changed several times due to an ongoing lawsuit brought on by 17 Democratic states attorneys general. Additionally, some institutions were able to request an extension through April 18 to submit their ACTS reporting, pending they met certain criteria.
