The Department of Education (ED) provided details last week about four upcoming webinars and over a dozen virtual office hours related to the implementation of final rules related to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA).
ED will host four webinars in June and July on loan repayment plans, schedule of reductions and loan limits, the Workforce Pell program, and STATS and earnings accountability. For these webinars, beginning June 3, attendees do not need to register, though ED can only accommodate up to 10,000 attendees for each session, and participation is available on a first-come, first-served basis. All webinars are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. ET.
For the virtual office hours, ED is hosting 14 separate hour-long sessions; the first session begins on May 26 at 3 p.m. ET. Registration is required to attend the virtual office hours, and each session can accommodate up to 10,000 participants.
Recordings of both the webinar and virtual office hours will be available through the FSA Training Center.
