Christopher Pollard

Meet Christopher Pollard. Christopher has worked in financial aid for 14 years — beginning as a student customer service representative in the financial aid office at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga during his freshman year of college. His dedication to helping open the doors to higher education for more students, however, began even before his first job, when he served as a peer mentor at a local high school in Tennessee assisting high school seniors with the FAFSA and college admissions applications.

ED Assessing Changes Annual Student Loan Acknowledgement Implementation

The Department of Education's Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA) on Wednesday announced it would be "assessing potential changes" to the implementation of the Annual Student Loan Acknowledgement (formerly named the Informed Borrower Tool), originally set to be put into place this spring. FSA said in an email to those registered for upcoming webinars on the implementation — which have now been canceled — that it will provide more information as soon as possible in an Electronic Announcement posted to the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) website. FSA will also send information about rescheduling the webinar series through a Training Announcement to be posted on the IFAP website. Stay tuned to Today's News for updates.
