The Office of Postsecondary Education will host several webinars that will provide an overview of the changes to regulatory requirements in the Distance Education and Innovation regulations, which were published on Sept. 2, 2020 and will be effective July 1, 2021 (unless early implemented by institutions). The webinars — focusing on Satisfactory Academic Progress and Return of Title IV Funds, Distance Education and Institutional Eligibility, and Subscription-Based Programs, respectively — will take place on April 12, April 26, and May 10 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. ET. Elevate Salon Institute, who retired after 31 years of working in financial aid; and Catherine Sanchez, formerly the assistant director of financial aid at University of North Texas Health Science Center, who is now the director of financial aid at University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
