The Department of Education (ED) on Friday released an updated spreadsheet showing schools with missing gainful employment/financial value transparency (GE/FVT) data for the 2024 and 2025 reporting cycles. According to ED, roughly 1,550 institutions have not yet reported all required FVT/GE data – a decrease of roughly 200 institutions since ED’s previous update in late August. As a reminder, the institutional reporting deadline for these two cycles is January 15, 2027. The deadline for the 2026 reporting cycle remains October 1, 2026, and ED has confirmed it will not extend that deadline.
