NASFAA's State Fact Sheets use data from the most recent National Student Aid Profile, an annual publication designed to give a high-level overview of the federal student financial aid programs that provide funding to millions of students each year. Each fact sheet shows state-specific data on the number of recipients and total volume for various federal student aid programs, including the Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants, Federal Work Study, and Federal Direct Loans. NASFAA offers these State Fact Sheets as a helpful resource to policymakers, the financial aid community, and stakeholders at all levels to demonstrate the importance of the federal student aid programs that provide a pipeline for our nation's students to access higher education.
These fact sheets will be updated periodically to reflect the most up to date information from the National Student Aid Profile.
