NASFAA UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Blue Icon Advisors' upcoming Let's Talk session, on June 18, will be a peer discussion on how we are navigating the required schedule of reductions (SOR). Exchange ideas and practical approaches that can assist your SOR implementation plans. Check the schedule for additional upcoming topics and be sure to register for this upcoming session.

This programming year's topics range from timely updates on the implementation of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OB3) to summer aid issues and the latest on the 2027-28 FAFSA. Active NASFAA members should consider adding the webinar package to their membership. You'll get all of this year's programming, including live and on-demand webinars, for a single price, and the package allows everyone at your institution to register for as many webinars as they like. Value Plus members and webinar package purchasers: Please note that your NASFAA membership must be paid in full for the checkout process to reflect webinars as free.

As we approach the end of the academic year, we are collecting the names of financial aid colleagues and higher education industry VIPs who passed away in the last year (since July 2025). If you know of someone who should be recognized on this list, please submit an update by Friday, June 19.
