NASFAA’s Advocacy Pipeline is an ongoing advocacy effort designed to bring NASFAA’s elected leaders and other members to D.C. to share on-the-ground perspectives with policymakers. Throughout the year, small groups of NASFAA members come to Washington to participate in direct advocacy with Congressional offices.
As work continues to reauthorize the Higher Education Act, it remains critical to keep our members and our policy issues and recommendations in front of the Congressional members and staff that will be drafting and passing this important legislation.
In light of visitor restrictions at the U.S. Capitol and the ongoing public health crisis, NASFAA will be holding virtual advocacy pipelines until it is safe to resume travel and in-person meetings. NASFAA will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will make appropriate adjustments to the advocacy pipeline program to ensure the health and safety of Congressional staff and NASFAA members and staff.
