FSA Announces In-Person Conference on December 14-16

Federal Student Aid (FSA) on Wednesday announced that it will host an in-person Federal Student Aid (FSA) Training Conference on December 14-16, 2026, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Oxon Hill, Maryland.
According to FSA, the conference agenda will include the latest federal financial aid policy and operational updates, keynote addresses from the Department of Education (ED), general sessions about key topics, and a resource center.
FSA will share additional details soon, including registration and lodging information. FSA noted that it will reserve a block of rooms for attendees at the Gaylord National Resort. Additionally, FSA warned that space to attend the conference may be limited, and is developing a process for allocating seats to ensure broad representation among institutions.
Over the next fiscal year, FSA noted that it will be “deliberately redeploying more of our resources toward building exceptional conference programs for the FSA Training Conference, rather than investing those resources in strengthening attendance at external events elsewhere.”
