November 18, 2021 - The 2021 fiscal year marked the second year of NASFAA's accredited Certified Financial Aid Administrator® Program. Since this program's launch at the 2019 National Conference, 272 financial aid administrators in all six regions and 46 states had earned the FAAC® designation. Registration Now Open for the New FAAC Forum
October 26, 2021 - NASFAA is pleased to announce an opportunity designed exclusively for those who currently hold the FAAC® designation. The FAAC Forum will bring FAACs together to network and explore important issues facing the financial aid community. The inaugural FAAC Forum will be held in conjunction with NASFAA's Leadership & Legislative Conference & Expo in Washington, D.C. February 14-16, 2022. Programming will include Title IV administrative capability training, skills-development presentations, and community-building discussions, as well as thought-provoking sessions designed to help envision the future of the financial aid profession. October 1, 2021 - The latest certification testing window has closed and the Registry continues to grow! The Certified Financial Aid Administrator® Commission — an independent certifying body of NASFAA — has now certified more than 285 financial aid professionals who have earned the FAAC® designation. This designation recognizes the knowledge, experience, and dedication to ethical behavior that are the hallmarks of the financial aid profession. Curious About the CFAA Program's Remote Proctoring Experience?
August 31, 2021 - NASFAA's remote proctoring vendor, ProctorU, produced a short video to illustrate the process of connecting to your proctor and taking the online exam. The video is a great way to acquaint yourself with the remote proctoring experience. Keep in mind your experience may be slightly different, as the certification knowledge exam has some different requirements than the exam used for the purposes of this video. Make sure you meet all of the technical requirements to sit for the certification knowledge exam.

Renewal is not mandatory; NASFAA Professional Credentials do not expire. To renew, you must successfully pass the current version of the credential test for that subject area.
