This week on "Off The Cuff," Megan rejoins the team as they discuss the latest news on the fate of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program as the Supreme Court heard oral arguments this week. And at 19:27, Allie explains news out of the Department of Education, as the agency announced Friday it would forgive the student loan debt and restore Pell Grant eligibility for more than 1,500 former students who attended certain Dream Center institutions. We're less than three months away from NASFAA's 2020 Leadership & Legislative Conference & Expo. Kristie Hughes of Western Kentucky University said she loved "every part" of the conference. "This is all new to me, and I was a little nervous," she said. "Now, I'm ready to step into that [leadership] role, and I'm psyched!" Others have called the panels "insightful" and said the conference helped them translate federal policy into the day-to-day duties of financial aid professionals. The Department of Education alerts EDExpress for Windows software users of a login error caused by recent updates to Microsoft Office. Users have reported that they are unable to log into EDExpress after installing one of these updates. When attempting to log in, the error message "Query is corrupt" is displayed and the user cannot access the software.
